Elizabeth Evans is the owner and operator of Lizzy’s Cajun Cafe. Liz, to those that know her, acquired her taste for cajun cuisine from family gatherings at an early age. Lizzy’s boasts the perfect balance of traditional American cuisine and southern flair. Chef Curtis Evans has been a staple in the community of Albany for 30 years. His broad talents range from owning one of the first black hair salons in Albany, CA to supplying Lizzy’s with its cajun fair. Also known as “The Whistling Chef”, Chef Evans gets his greatest joy from patrons getting their fill of his Jambalaya, BBQ Ribs, or Flora’s Famous Peach Cobbler! Located on bustling Solano Avenue in Albany, CA, Lizzy’s looks forward to serving you Thursday through Sunday!
